Oil of Thyme is extracted from partially dried or completely dried leaves, twigs and flowering tops of Thyme plant by means of water distillation or steam distillation. Main constituents of Thyme oil are thymol, carvacrol, cymene, pinene, linalool and bornyl acetate.
