Carrier Oil
Carrier Oils have been used since the time of ancient Greece and Rome when aromatic oils were used in massages, baths, cosmetics, and medicinal applications. In the 1950s, Marguerite Maury, the first person to use individually prescribed combinations of essential oils for the individual’s desired therapeutic benefits, began diluting essential oils in a vegetable Carrier Oil and massaging them into the skin by using a Tibetan technique that applies pressure along the spine.
Like Essential Oils, Carrier Oils are also extracted from leaves, stems, roots, fruits, flowers, and other parts of plants. However, Carrier Oils are not concentrated and do not cause skin irritation when you apply them to your skin directly. Therefore, Carrier Oils are often used as a diluent for Essential Oils.
Kirva Organics India's Carrier Oils are milder than concentrated Oils; they have their own therapeutic and medicinal properties. Also, each Carrier oil has a distinct aroma and may have unique psychological effects as well. Therefore used for perfumery and aromatherapy purposes.
Various Carrier Oils possess moisturizing, antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties, but their degree can vary from one Carrier Oil to another. Carrier Oils nourish your skin and protect them from skin issues like pimples, acne, wrinkles, blackheads, etc.
Our Pure Carrier Oils are used for massage purposes due to their ability to get absorbed in your skin completely. In addition, they strengthen your joints and muscles and can be used to banish body pain as well. Due to these benefits, unscented carrier oils are in great demand among skincare, cosmetic, hair care, and aromatherapy product manufacturers these days.
